Hey all, connected the arduino to my pc and I see it (arduino mega 2560). I'm still really suspicious of the power supply tho. The Magic white smoke vented right near the 115/230 volt switch. Any other diags I can test on the power supply? Or if the power supply is cheap enough does anyone have a comparable part number for it? (The one linked above via Amazon a good choice?). Also after reconnecting the RAMPS to Arduino and plugging it back in, my PC does see an Arduino still, but my MatterControl still doesn't connect to a printer and when I turn the printer on nothing happens...no movement, no LEDs, nothing. Thanks all. Looking forward to trying this whole 3D printing thing out. :). --Barry

In anticipation of the power supply arriving tonight...can anyone give me some pointers on how to remove the old one? I don't really see any screws securing it. Thanks!! --Barry

Answering my own question in case it helps anyone else. Appears that it just slides out...

Yes, it is a firm/tight fit, but it does slide in/out

When you said it was a tight fit you were NOT kidding. A little sweat, a lot of blood, and the new power supply was installed. And... IT WORKS!! :) Now I just have to figure out how to load filament in this little feller and I will be printing!! Thanks a TON for everyone's help and advice. --Barry Steenbergh
