I have this annoying problem I haven't been able to figure out.

I like to keep simplify3D connected to my Robo3D via USB so that I can heat things up or do other random manual stuff, then export the gcode to my SD card and put it into the LCD.

When I do this and press print on the LCD nothing happens. Turn off the robo and turn it back on press print on LCD nothing happens ( I imagine because the LCD never turned off because its still connected to simplify3d )

Unplug USB turn off robo, turn robo back on..go to print from LCD finally prints.

Any of you other SImplify3d and Robo3d Users with LCD have this happen? It apparently doesn't like to SD Card and USB connect at the same time.

No, I have not seen that. I use the RepRap Discount LCD and it works fine.
Pretty much the same procedure... pull SD card from LCD and mount in card reader on PC.
Export to SD card from Simplify, remount it in the LCD.
Then either start print from LCD or start print from Simplify (using the gcode on the LCD SD card).
    Either works.
