This is my first day ever trying to do anything like this......

Can someone please tell me how to simplify a model so that it can then be accepted into the printer software? If possible with freeware or shareware. Pro software is incredibly expensive I found today.

I am importing a house from sketch up, scaling down and then exporting it as a mesh (I think), then when trying to open it in that repetier software I'm told the model has too many objects.

    Thanks in advance.

Can you post the file and the exact error message you are getting? You can download meshlab to simplify your model, but you really should be able to export reasonably simple models from sketch up so maybe there is an error in it somewhere.
