Answered SketchUp/Print help

    I want to print this as it is , to use as a cover while I'm painting .. to save me masking .. it's printing a solid shape and not the template as I hoped .

    And ideas or help welcome , thanks

    You cannot use a shortened URL for a link to the image, that is why it did not show initially. You must use a URL that includes the actual filename. I fixed this for you.

    To your question specifically, I have no answer, I do not use Sketchup, maybe someone else can jump in.

    Run it through an STL verification like this (there are others) : https://service.netfabb.com/

    Make sure there is not a rogue vector. Not a Sketchup user either :)

    What are you wanting to print? An image or a 3D print. If an image, save it to your computer and print that. Click on the File folder icon as Box mentioned.

    Rather they are trying to print a 3D template and it is printing as a solid. This is usually an error in the STL or sometimes the model itself that created the STL
