So what are all the tips and tricks and questions you have about solidworks

 

AGREED JDM_!!!! haha I have a PC too, but also the cost...

 

Luckily id have solid works premium 2013 and it is amazing. they have there own tutorials which are designed to show both the capabilities and different ways to do things probably has 40-50 different ones built in for newbies but it is totally amazing so far.It is a bit overwhelming but it is actually starting to make more sense as i go through it. Biggest petpeeve is that the command bars seem to show what you recently used or something like that. For instance I never used the copy command icon until I did it in a tutorial and in the tutorial you click on it and it shows you where it is in the program but the command bar is there and some other icons i haven;t used yet but in this case there was no paste icon but a step or two later you use the paste icon and you have to click on it in the tutorial to find it and then it pops up and is visible in the command bar right next to the copy icon. In my opinion it should have already been there and should always be there when the command bar is visible but I am not complaining just something I noticed.

Already have drawn things that there was no way I would have been able to draw earlier
