Solved Solution for missing rubber boot on R1 Hotend

    When the hotend rubber boot is destroyed, as mine was, a simple solution is to put the thermistor into the hole and put a dab of Permatex Ultra Copper Gasket Maker on it to hold it in place. In fact I covered the whole hex part of the hot end with the stuff (except for the extruder) so it formed a new boot. The product adheres perfectly and can peel off easily if it needs to be removed. It has a safe temperature range of -65F to +600F.

    Most folks just wrap it with kapton tape, but if you are good then it is what matters.
