so I have a client that I printed this for (along with a bunch of other parts). The final price ended up quite high due to hours ran. This print took a solid 2 days (ish- cant recall 1 day and high change) due to geometry, required finish, etc etc etc blady blady blady. The thing that strikes me and makes me wonder is we had talked about how 3D Printing something "plain" isn't worth it, the value is in the details. Still paid me to print this. Thoughts on it? Why not buy it off the shelf? Maybe there isn't one exactly the way they needed? There is still a top for it I have to print (lid) but thought it would be fun to throw out the subject and see what everyone things. finished print.jpg

If they really are looking for something specific/custom then 3D printing is the way to go.
It doesn't look all that special, but it might be :)

It looks a lot like something you could have purchased at Hobby Lobby.

a non requirement as the entire thing gets epoxy coated by the customer and is not liquid holding :D
