Teflon Filament

    Has anybody used any teflon filaments on the R2?

    Do you mean NYLON?

    Teflon filament doesn't exist for consumer grade printers.

    but we love nylon and have used it on the R1, R1+, C2 and others.

    What brand nylon and abs filaments do you use?

    We almost exclusively use Taulman as @WheresWaldo pointed out. I would suggest staying away from any filament labeled as a generic "nylon" (no blend information) since that will vary wildly in quality and usability.

    In what way? What are you looking for in the ways of material ? Stength? Heat resistance?

    Nylon is a whole different beast than ABS.

    ASA is more akin to ABS but printable on most machines. PETG is a good substitute for ABS. Polycarbonate will make you cuss unless its set up right but superior to all those. I need to know what you application is :D

    In terms of tensile strength, yes. Other properties... maybe not.

    Yep, many swear words will be spoken.
