So yesterday i was having warping issues printing a part that has a rectangular base.
Tried different orientations, but had about 4 failed prints of the same thing.

The part was ABS, printing at 230/90 with an E3D V5 extruder. It was a cooler day so i thought perhaps it was an ambient air temp issue, and that an enclosure might help. Found a suitably sized cardboard box and used that to test.

Set it printing and went about my business and came back an hour later so see how it was doing. Again it had warped, but it had also split and shifted half way up the print. Looking closer, 3 of the bearing on the X axis carriage had come out, and the PLA fan mount had been damaged and was hanging low.

I'm guessing it got too hot under the box?

I didnt try doing another print after that, the bearings all slotted back into the carriage OK, but i need to look at printing another fan mount if i can find the stl.
