Hello everyone. Its been about a year or two since i last been on the forums. So I been enjoying my Robo R1+ for the past 2 years now and I was going to do a print today but noticed that there was a random unknown part chilling under my print bed. No idea where it came from or where it goes, so Wondering if anyone knows where this part goes, IF it even goes to the R1+.

It is (IIRC) a clip to (edit:allegedly) hold the cable out of the way under the bed so that the bed doesn't get caught in the wires
Someone with an R1+ can comment

Yep that is the clip, long gone on my printer as it doesn't really keep the cable out of the way. So stuff that in a parts drawer and forget about it.

Alrighty thanks guys. Is there really no need for it? Will it be safe to continue printing without it?

Sure, if you are worried lift the glass plate and slide the Y axis back and forth and watch the cables to make sure nothing is likely to get tangled

No issues for me and I think @Geof has been without his almost since his first R1.

Ditto. I actually remove them and route the wires between the y rail plastic frame and the glass bed. That clip liked to come loose and smack the middle plate causing shifts.
