Upgrading the X,Y steppers

    The R2 has a fixed stepper current of about 1 amp. It uses a 17HS4402 a 17HS8402 will fit and upgrade your torque and holding. The datasheet is attached. The higher the inductance the slower the motor can rotate. When the Partsbuilt.com board becomes available the current will be adjustable and you can use a 17HS8401 which has half the inductance and can travel faster with higher current.
