Utility Use of 3D Printing

    My daughter showed me the lid to her crock pot.

    So I designed a replacement knob for the lid using FreeCAD.

    The center hole was designated as being threaded for the US standard 1/4 inch screw. I then printed the knob using PetG. Why PetG? The softening point for PetG is well above the boiling point of water. Thus the lid will be dishwasher safe.
