    Hi there,
Happily printing so far, however, there's some minor issues :

I'd appreciate any advise you can provide.

#1: even though the z axis is leveled almost to scratch the bed, stuff is lifting off the edges.

#2: the infill looks rather like a web with some blobs in it. I already tried to reduce temp to 180,but still the same.

    Thanks!

Answering #2 myself: I tried to increase the temp to 200, looking much better now

what kind of filament are your printing? ABS oder PLA? with or without heat bed?

PLA, without heated bed. I figured that not enough filament is being fed for some reason, looks like an issue with the hobbed bolt, maybe....

the temperature seems fine then (even for the first layer)
    the nozzle is clean?

if the hobbet bolt slips you should see it on the filament (that the bolt turns and the filament doesn't move as much as it should)
or it's just not turnig enough for whatever reason (maybe the feeding rate is not configurated the right way)

but honestly I don't really know why this happens in your case

    Hi tesseract,
I'm already past this point. Hairspray simply didn't work for me, so I tried painters tape which is much better.

For ABS or PLA I use the blue painters tape and a coat of glue stick.
    Rarely does something not stick.
