So what I initially thought was a heat bed failure is something else. What powers the connector the heat bed plugs into? I'm guessing I can buy this part solder it in and save my ramps board as the heat bed is the only failure.

Connector for heat Bed shows 1-3vdc

    Thanks in advance

    The RAMPS powers the heatbed.
It is not uncommon for the MOSFET that drives the heated bed circuit to die (google it, it is not even Robo specific -- Q3).
EDIT: it dawned on me (3rd read) that you wanted to know which PART on the RAMPS does this :) It is Q3 on the standard RAMPS 1.4 that does this on the Robo/Marlin. You can likely recover it by replacing the MOSFET, but the generic RAMPS board is likely as cheap as a batch of MOSFETS from Digikey.

I have a spare generic ramps but the connectors :) lol r1+ here. So I'm digging trying to find my solder sucker and I'll rob the mosfet from the generic board and put it and the heat sink on the original board while I wait to hear back from Jerry. I might be out of my warranty. I'm guessing those connectors are off the shelf and could be ordered to make use of the generic boards ? I see robo has all the boards listed togather for like 80.00.... My generic kit is 35:) lol

I forgot to press send ! Lol

Anyway I have the mosfet from my other board in and the bed is working ! I attached a picture (I broke that leg off lol failure was internal)

Looks like I have another part to stock :)

Hmmmm..... If I buy the mosfet then I can get a handful for the same price as the generic board. If I buy the generic board kit I get stepper drivers, arduino and ramps, full display, Smart connectors.... Omg.... What am I gonna do with handfuls of all of these lol!!!!!!!!

@mark tomlinson thank you for helping me through this! I'll let you know if it ends up warranty or purchase :)

Robo actually did this on my plus (the heat sink) I transferred it from the old part to the replacement:)

    Thank you for the link!

That is funny. Good, but funny. They do listen I guess.
Those are so cheap (in bulk -- pennies).

    Side note,
What is this shiny foil tape that looks very similar Hvac duct tape that holds the heater cork on ? Lol

Aluminum tape. You can get it cheap too.
I had a spool from ages ago. Was mostly used in HVAC work* (doing ducts and the like).

*Not ME doing that work :)

And the biggest sad face ever.... The new mosfet burned out. Jerry will call me Monday to talk about new ramps. Sure wish the connectors were the same :-(

It could also be something in the circuit for the MOSFET that is overdriving it.
A spare RAMPS is a win.

:) the kick in the pants is the one sitting on the shelf that won't work lol. Darn the luck lol. I'll continue my search of Amazon to see if I can find one that will work but doesn't look good

I don't think I got the spares I have from Amazon.
    Newark or Digikey most likely.
