Anyone have any thoughts on what to do with scrap prints? Right now I've got a bunch of pla prints that were either cancelled part way or just didn't finish in an acceptable way. Anyone have any thoughts? Or would anyone like them (perhaps if you have a pla grinder or something of the sort). Just thought I'd post something before tossing em all in the trash to see what others were doing with scrap prints.

Anyone know of a good grinder so then you could use something like the Filastruder or Filabot to make new plastic? I Think that would be sick!

You might be able to use a grain mill to grind down the bits enough. I think that might be the best solution though I'd have concerns about the plastic getting stuck in the teeth.

Edit: Or stick them in a blender

What if I don't want to sell them and just make my own filament with my Filastruders (Matt, lol), how do I get parts in a small enough form?

How about heating it up till it's soft and then pushing it trough a meat grinder or something like that? (some have even cutters in front so you'll get tiny pieces)

About time someone finds a practical use for an iPad. Now if only we could make filament out of it.
