I have 3 robo3d r1+'s and they all have the same problem where after the leveling routine, they start at different heights. i have to continuously restart adjusting a M565 command to get them to work.

Is there something I'm missing or a better way to get these machines to register the correct Z?

If you are continuously adjusting the Z offset then you have some slop in the switches most likely or the bed is flexing a lot when it is pressing down to do the 9 points it senses. Once you get that set it should pretty much not change unless you change something mechanically.

One of the switches may be loose or twisted in the mounting. Review this video from NoviceExpert -- he (I think) covers that ....
