I'm pretty new to the R1+ and I heard that the slicer called slic3r was good. When I started it up, it asked for the printer's Firmware Type. What should I select? I'm using the R1+.
    The Options are:
    RepRap
    Repetier
    Teacup
    Makerware
    Sailfish
    Mach3/LinuxCNC
    Machinekit
    Smoothieware
    No extrusion

The best software for me has been Simplify3D. I am building a 3d printed r/c airplane with a 49" wingspan. There are around 200 3d printed parts. The project takes around 1 1/2 months just to print. So, tweaking adjustments for each print isn't really an option if I want the aircraft to be ready for April.
