Unresolved R1 plus and puuli smart controller

    Hi all I have a question please as I am still pretty new at this. I have a newer r1 plus and since I happen to have
    a puuli smart lcd controller i would like to know if this can be used on the r1 plus? do i need to change any setting and if so how? also how do I access the firmware for the r1 plus I read about arduino software but do not know if i need it or not?

    Looks like a standard RepRap LCD to me when I googled it.

    If it is a clone of the RepRap Discount LCD then no firmware changes are need. If it is a clone of the FULL Graphics LCD then a one-line firmware edit is needed.

    The R1+ firmware version is the one labeled "Leadscrew Update Firmware"

    because.... I have no idea why :)

    Hi Mark thank for the help I would like to ask you how do I get the configuration from the printer now so I can look at it I am not sure how to do that ,,, also is there a way in matter control to change the setting or edit the hex files?

    Sorry, I can't help you with MatterControl. I do not use it.
    Hopefully someone else can chime in.

    it cool i am grateful for your help question for you though i just got the controller out of the box and a piece came off i guess when it was shipped can u tell me what it is for on the board? the small
