Just called tech support. They didn't know what blobs or zits are.

I'm using simplify3D. I'm a n00b so i'm not really sure what to do. Simplify's guide is very confusing to me. If someone has any recommendations, i'd be extremely appreciative. The zits are really only happening on the edges of the print. I'm using hatchbox, but it did this with the ROBO3D filament too. I have the R1+. PLA. I guess what i'm asking is, what are everyone's settings? I'm on stock settings.

    Thanks!

    Zack

On S3D's website there are troubleshooting videos. There is one that specifically addresses this issue, you should take a look.

Do you have a link to said videos?

Edit: Nevermind ,found them. Thank you!

Edit 2: Those videos aren't doing it for me. :/

Mess with retraction, retraction speed, coast, wipe, calibrate extruder. PLA shouldn't be too hard to get dialed in. Post some pics.

Your extrusion is likely inconsistent. Increase the tension on the two screws that hold the Greg's Wade idler against the filament and hobbed bolt. As @Nathanfish mentions pictures are a good idea.
