I have a Robo3D R1+. My hotend became clogged and when I took the hotend apart for the first time to clear it upon putting it back together the the set screw to hold the heatbreak in the heatsink started to strip. Not the head of the screw, but the threads in the hole. I am pretty sure I need a new heatsink, but I cannot find just the heatsink anywhere.

Do you think this is something I could try drilling out and retapping it at a slightly larger diameter?

Does anyone Know where I could purchase just the heatsink?

    Thanks

No. The Hexagon is so cheap they do not sell parts. You replace the entire hotend :(

Looks like I get to do that E3D V6 upgrade I have been wanting to do. Thanks for the quick answer.

Sorry for the bad news. On the plus side you can buy every individual piece of the E3D :) So repairs are easier.

Do you know if the volcano pack works with the R1+? Is the extruder motor enough to keep up with a 1.2mm nozzle?

It works with the beta so I imagine it will work fine with any of the Robos.

I have one with the Volcano and another just with a normal E3D.
