    Hi,
    I've installed a e3dv6 head on my robo 3d.
The zoffset is way out. It starts to print about 10cm from the bed
I tried to fix it with auto levelling.
I tried turning auto levelling off
I tried custom g code option as well and it just keeps printing about 15cm above the bed. tried M565 Z-1.1,
    M565 Z-2.1, M565 Z-4.1,M565 Z-4.2, M565 Z-8.1.
I tried callibration of software but got to step 1 where you press the -z button. it stopped about 4cm from the bed and said it was way low and would not go any lower.

Any help as I am a complete amateur at this.

    thanks

This thread was a while ago but it still says unanswered so I will answers it because I had the exact same problem. You need to go into the printer settings and adjust your z endstop you also may need to check the negative z box.
