Solved ROBO 3D R1+ won't connect to mac running Ubuntu

    ROBO 3D R1+ running on a mac with Ubuntu 16.04. I cannot get the printer to connect and ideas. This was working with this mac previously, but not on Ubuntu. Thanks.

    I'm sorry I can't help with a Mac, I use a pc. I'd suggest trying a powered USB hub and a new USB cable

    Do other USB devices show up properly with the same cable? From the CLI do you see it (eg in /dev, via dmesg, etc), and just not through the control software?

    I found some posts from others with similar problems trying to run MC on linux. There is a missing file from MC called libSetSerial.so

    These two posts were helpful : (I'm too new to add the link or text of the link)
