For those of you who have successfully edited the gcode to move to an off-print location and pause until you restart it again, I could use your help. Referring to the reprap wiki, there are a few options to pause the print, M01, M25 and M226 most notably. Not sure which one is best?

I sliced my object in Cura, dropped the gcode into Repetier so I could edit it, found the layer I wanted to pause at and told it to G1 off the print (I now realize my coordinates were wrong...) and then M226, which should have paused it there. Unfortunately, neither of these added commands happened during the print. I just want to change the filament color for the top few layers. Attached is a screen shot of the g-code I edited. Many thanks for your help.

Google g code editor. Sorry, don't have an answer for you, but editing the code will be easier.

Have you tried @pause as well?

I saw that on the repetier website, but it seemed like they were referring to using the pause command. I'll see if putting "@pause" into a line works
