I have setup my printer as in the instructions and everything seems to be working (bed and head up to temperature, X,Y and Z move) except for the extruder motor. In manual controls I click the extrude 10mm but nothing happens and if I print then it goes through the motions but does not extrude.

I can manually turn the black wheel by hand to get pla through the extruder, the motor does not turn, it is not vibrating and it is cold to touch.

what should I do to resolve?

Check the extruder motor connections and make sure they are seated properly. They may have come loose.

I have checked the extruder connections and on both motor and board the connections are fine. On the board it is connected through the E1 connection, is this correct? I can see an E0 connection too.

I switched the extruder to E0 rather than E1 and the extruder motor now works and I am up and running.

    Many thanks

    Excellent!
Looks like they just plugged it into the wrong one. Easy fixes are great.
