Unresolved Filament not feeding

    The simple answer is that yes, you can modify your existing bolt. Get the dremel out and start cutting, worst case, you will have to buy another bolt and I've seen them anywhere from a 5-6 dollars to $20+ (in my mind, the bolt is the most important thing). I don't see why you couldn't do it. Go slow and keep a steady hand (get very thin blades).

    If you run into issues, ask a question and if you end up just thinking it's a pain in the butt, you can buy a machined one from Oak or from a slew of other people who as the poster stated below make many variations.

    I'd stay away from the shallow grooves, that's just my preference. The physics say that if you make shallow grooves, you will end up grinding at one point or another (that's not to say that deep grooves won't provide you this problem if say you set the temperature too low or make other key mistakes).
