I've worked a week of evenings and almost the whole 3 day weekend (yeah, I ain't got a life!) trying to get Cura to work with my Linux Mint laptop.

I finally got it to work (it was easy once I figured it out) and am finding that when I try to cancel a job the software locks up and I have to reset the laptop.

Is this something anyone has seen on either their Windows or Linux machines?

Never used it on Linux, but you might want to ask that question on the Ultimaker Cura forum if you don't hear anything from here.

That's where I found the info that finally let me to my solution but boy, it's no place for a casual linux user. I spent more time looking up their instructions for syntax and so on. They assume a lot LOL. But that's not unusual for linux forums.
