Heated Bed & Control Board Quality Issues

Hi,

Recently I have been having problems with the heated bed not responding to input. After powering turning on the heated bed, there was a burning smell which prompted me to immediately turn it off. I inspected the board and the wires connected to C8 were shorting!! Not only was the red wire touching the green wire next to it, but it was not even fully inserted. I pulled it out and it seems like there was a small white plastic square stuck inside and the wire was forced inside. The screw head is stripped and there are now burn marks on the board. I have an ABS model from the Kickstarter campaign and would appreciate assistance in this matter. Thanks
