Hello, everyone.

Great to meet you all. My name is Ahmed, and I live in ever-humid Southeastern Louisiana, a few minutes east of New Orleans. The RoBo will be my first 3D printer, though I have been watching the technology closely for years now, and I am somewhere among the first 50 backers for this project. For anyone keeping score, that makes me cooler and more hip than 1201 of you. Especially you, guy reading this right now.

I like a healthy dose of sarcasm in my writing, and I go out of my way to type words of greater than three syllables because it makes me feel smart. I like learning about things, and I like sharing what I've learned to make it easier for the next guy. I tend to gravitate toward obscure hobbies. Right now, I am big on Astrophotography, which I've been doing for about 1.5 years. I started in Photomicrography very recently, and I look forward to seeing where that goes. I'll be adding 3D Design and Printing to the list when my ABS kit arrives this May (plus a month or two due to the Kickstarter effect).
