My extruder distance from the bed is higher (~0.2-0.3mm) on the left side of the bed then it is on the right. What is the procedure for manually leveling the x axis so that the extruder height is even on both ends of the bed?

You will want to turn either z-axis threaded rod individually with a piece of paper under the print head. With the print head on the left turn the left screw until the print head just drags a little on the paper. Move to the right and repeat. Then do it once more on the left.

That procedure will get you pretty close.

of course, one can power the other. They will turn nearly in unison. Have to hold one while adjusting the other.
