Issues with extruder temperature

HI gang,

I have a problem with my extruder. the resistor that warm ups the extruder have a bad wire, short wire.

Problem is that Printer, sometimes, wont reach the proper temperature, sometimes it will stop working in the middle of a print. When that happens I can "wiggle" the wire that comes from the nozzle and things will be back to normal (see pictures, the drop in temperature were caused by the resistor stop working.



Thermistor seems to be working just fine.

I have the printer for a month and I would like to understand how can I get my printer working again. Is this kind of stress normal??? What does it have to be done??
