Solved New extruder fan, prints not bonding now - coincidence?

Printing for the first time in two weeks - nothing has changed aside from having my extruder fan replaced.

I am able to "print", but it seems nothing really bonds together. I can just pull apart my prints after they finish - finished up a two hour print and the thing was mushy. This example here, not a single one of the threads were bonded together.

I did notice after many test prints that the little heater core had almost come all the way out of the extruder, but even after positioning that back in this problem persists.

This is the first roll of filament I purchased and is coming up on a little over 3 months old, so maybe the roll has gone bad?
