Questions before buying

Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to 3D printing and if i ge tthe Robo 3D it will be my first one.
But before i order, i have a couple of questions:

1. I live in germany and shipping options say it's 75$ - But is that package insured fully? Is LIVE tracking on the package?
2. I couln't find any place to buy 1.75mm plastik fulfillment in germany. Do you guys have some hints where to search? I only can find 3mm on ebay. can i also use that?
3. Are there any programms to use the printer with which work on Mac since i only have a mac (i could install windows on it, but i really don't want to )
