    Hi there

I needed some advise for for this print out that I have printed. It seems like the top surface is pretty smooth but the sides of this print out seems to be very rough. What could possibly be the issue here?

    Thanks in advance!

    Zack,

I'm sleepy, so you get the short answer: Your printer can't print in mid-air. Enable support in the slic3r options and try it again.

The object is actually printed with a support material, just that I have already cut out the base of the supporting material.

What else could be the likely issue? It seems like it is just rough on the sides (legs, and the neck portion of the frog object)

I've found 0.3 to be a particularly bad height for print quality.

What is the height that you usually use? (for print quality)

Right. Try .2, this might help

Check to see if the black z axis plastic things that are attached to the z axis rods are broken.... I dunno, but it could also be that your printing too fast or your printhead is wobbling.
