    Hello all,
My name is Justin, and I’m in South East Michigan. I’m in the July ABS group for the Kickstarter and can’t wait to get my new printer. I’m not new to the world of 3D printers; my college had one in 2004 when I was taking my design classes. But upon finding out how much one of the commercial guys cost, I all but forgot about them. Until NPR had a short spot on 3D printing and the fact that you can build one yourself last year… and well next thing I knew I was building myself a nice RepRap Prusa. Fast forward a year (aka now) and I have a printer that thanks to work and life is all done… save leveling the bed and final calibrating, but it will print a bit. When I saw the kickstarter for the RoBo3D I thought to myself “Hey I need a second, bigger printer that is calibrated,” not sure why, but why not grab another printer when I can.
Any who I’m rambling, a little about me, I homebrew beer, I work as an engineer, I mountain bike, and built a fixie to commute on, I have a slight addiction to building and making things, I like long walks on the beach (sorry wrong forum), I build AKs, I am a welder and machinist by trade, I backpack and do backcountry camping, and I have a lot of useless information regarding many random hobbies that I am involved in now, or have been in the past.
Hopefully I’ll be some use to you guys here, and I will be able to leach some knowledge from you too.
