loose wire 3d printer.jpg grooves 3d printer.jpg Hello - I had to pull out the unit to remove a filament clog. This wire came out upon reassembling. I have no idea how to reattach it. I also noticed grooves etched into the unit when it was removed. (2nd pic) will this effect the printing at all? Thank you for your assistance.

    your images arent working.
you probably pulled out the silly push and hope it stays in thermistor.
Of course I say silly. If they don't fall out they break. those legs are fragile. So 6 of one. just put it back in the hole on the side. Push it in all the way.

    Which unit was groovy?

your heater core wires are broken. Do not try to just push them back in. You'll need to replace that part. Check the Robo spare parts site. If they don't have them, I have some in stock that I can ship you if you're in the US.

Those grooves are normal. They are from the screws that hold the hot end in place.

ah, looking again, it's pretty obvious you have the thermistor circled. Sorry about that. I was picturing bad things happening.

Yep. That's the thermistor. It just sits in the hole for it. The rubber boot holds it in there. When you remove the boot the thermistor using comes out as well. Just put it back in and either put the boot back on or use kapton tape.
