How do I offset z-axis in Matter control in Cura engine setting. I cant find it anywhere. Is there a way to off set it within the firmware. If so how do I do that.

I see that in the slicer settings but the cura engine settings there is no such category for the z off set. I was wondering if the was another way. If so let me know or I will try it through the firmware.
    Thanks

I don't believe Cura has the Z-offset by default. I believe it requires a plugin to work.

There is a plugin for Cura called x/y/z shift

It's rather finicky though, so use it at your own risk.

I like the way Cura slices more than the other programs, but the current lack of z-offset options has sent me back to mattercontrol.

I never received paper like that. Is this still valid or outdated and is the number specific to my printer?

That's outdated. They no longer have you manually define the Z-offset, but use mattercontrols utility to find it with a piece of paper

    Z-Layer Height
I add the command M565 Z(insert mms here) to my start gcode to change layer height on cura

What dimension are your prints the wrong size? Some printers were flashed with the wrong firmware, what would be the problem if your Z is too small.

Check the size using the edit under the image of the model.
Click on size. You can make it any size you want either maintaining the same aspect ratio or altering individually, X,Y, or Z.

    Thank you!

Don't forget to put a dash after the Z
so it should be M565 Z-1
This should give you a z offset of 1mm
