Designer Of PCB's, Thru-hole, multi-layer, aluminum, & SMT. Prototype & dedicated test fixture design.
Purchased Robo3D R1 March of 2015. No experience prior with 3D printing. However, own CNC router with a 2' x 3' table.
Knowledge obtained by this great forum, u-tube, & Matter Control sites.
Purchased printer, ran about a 1/2 dozen prints....worked great right 'outta the box'......contrary to other reports I have read. Downloaded 123Design, Sketch up, Design Spark. Settled with Design Spark. Designs cleaned-up in Mesh mixer, then to Matter control, (have not tried Cura yet).
After owning the printer for slightly over a month, I totally disassembled for S & Giggles. Installed a E3D v6 hot end, as per Mikes excellent instructions, printed spool holder, printed print fan holder, and modified z limit switches with LED indicators for X truing.
Thanks guys for an excellent site....JimmyInteract
