Large Build

    Question... on the Robo 3d R1 plus.. is there any sort of mods that can be done to allow you to print without the hood on?

    I am looking at doing a really tall to the max of the build surface build and think that with the cable chain mod I may have issues.

    I was actually thinking about that myself. I'm wondering if buying longer guide rods and ballscrews are a'll that's needed

    Removing the top does not affect prints to any real extent. I have two that have not seen their tops in ... a really long time.
    I have also printed prints at max height with no ill effects :)

    Worst case just slot down a bit above certain 'elevationls'
