Unresolved dead printer after power out?

    so my printer was in the middle of an overnight print and the power went out now on startup im getting a hardware error and nothing will heat up. i didn't see anything wrong in my quick look over but i didn't want to take it apart because its cold as hell in garage .

    It is possible. Power surges can be deadly to electronics (and the power does not always just go directly away).
    Get us the details of the error. Also some details on which specific model you have since the electronics vary.

    There should really be a warning on the printer about making sure to use a UPS with it if you want to avoid damaging it due to power fluctuations.

    Well... living here in tropical weather central that would be a sticker needed on any electronics :)

    where is this fuse? and it showed up in the terminal error 0

    The fuse is in the plastic housing where the A./C cord plugs into the machine. Unplug it and there are some directions molded into the plastic.

    the fuse is fine. it turns on fine its just it gives me an error 0 apon startup and initeates min temp

    OK, that is a thermistor problem.
    You either have a bad connection to it or bad thermistor

    i tested it it was giving a good reading on my multimeter i plugged everything back in after shooting everything i unplugged with canned air and contact cleaner and its working idk why it was being stubborn.

    When there is a power outrage there could have been a surge which then blasts the board creating a short circuit or if you're lucky a fuse blew, so just go into the bottom of your printer and check the fuse with a digital meter.
