I started using Simplify3D for my Robo 3D R1 Plus. I noticed that whenever I remove any support material from prints, it leaves pretty bad scarring. It discourages me from using support material at all but some prints do require it. I currently use the default settings that Simplify3D provides. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

First, make sure that the scarring isn't just the dense support layer still on there. My guess is that is what it is. You can lower the infill percentage of the dense infill and you can also reduce the number of layers on the dense infill, if that is the case.

Or you are printing too hot and the material has enough sag to fuse into the support material more than it needs to.
