Answered Audrino Board & Ramps

    I think I fried my board, at least where the thermistor's plug in. I had the wrong wires plugged in and switched them while everything was on. The wiring is now right, but I am not getting any temp feedback from either the hot end or the bed (the bed did work). I guess it is possible that I fried the thermistor in the hot end as I turned it on not knowing the wires were wrong and let it heat up (I realized something was wrong when a jet of smoke came out of the hot end).

    What should I do next? Is there a drop in replacement (Robo is sold out online)?

    So I ruined the ramps, not the audrino?

    Will the XXL LCD connector plug into the board you used in the other thread?

    Only way to know is to test. Swap one and see if it fixes it.
    The RAMPS is the board that front-ends all of the I/O for the Arduino and is the most likely to die if you mess up connections.

    Yes, the LCD connector will plug right into a standard RAMPS.
