I'm having a problem with prints not sticking to the right side of the bed. No matter what I do on larger prints they want to lift.
I'm running the bed temp at 80 degrees and have raised it to 90 to no avail. I'm using Aquanet which seems to be sticky enough. and on smaller prints (knobs, small gears, etc) they are just fine, but anything cell phone cover or larger want's to lift.
I'm printing ABS and have a makeshift cover that seems to do a good job of holding the heat in.

90 seems on the low side for ABS. Since the robo bed heater doesn't heat evenly that may be causing you some issue. with ABS I'd trade the hairspray for some ABS Juice (you can make it by adding pieces of ABS filament to acetone). Can you run a 1 layer print and take a picture of the outcome for us?

What temp would you run the bed at?

For ABS? Let me answer for him : Hot as you can :)

You have a bit of an advantage on the R2 because the door and sides minimize air flow a lot. Still, hotter the better for ABS.

On the R1 -- you got nothing :) In fact it is worse because the Y axis moves the bed around creating airflow.

I think the R2 will stop you from achieving the optimal 100-110 on the bed that you'd want. Just get it as HOT as you can. maybe stick a box on the top of the machine to keep the heat in.

I no longer print ABS and haven't for a long time (too many better alternatives for us) but when we did our bed temp was 110c

Maybe I'll swing by IKEA and grab a Lack table.

www.printedsolid.com sells a nice enclosure for the Robo. I bought one for my UM and am very happy with it

Unfortunately they are out. But I have one of those Lack tables from IKEA on my other printer and it works pretty well especially at only $6.99 and with a little heavy plastic draped over it.

Anything will help. Just be cautious that you do not cause the electronics to overheat.
