    Hi everybody,
i need your help for my 3d printer robo r1plus.

When i print from my computer with mattercontrol, everything is fine but i bought a raprapdiscount full graphic controller and i have a little issue with it.

I can control all the printer from my lcd, i can see the file inside the sdcard and i can print but for instance, for a print with 3 perimeter , ithere is a space between each line, they do not touch each other. As if the diameter of the filament was too large in the parameters.
I found a parameter where the diameter was 2.85mm and i changed it in 1.75 ( the one i use) but i still have the same issue...

    thanks for your help!

It sounds like your z offset is incorrectly set. Are you using matter control when printing via USB ?

What software are you using to slice the gcode for printing via sd card ?

Ok so Matter control does some wierd stuff with z offsets. You will need to paste your start up script from Slic3r here if you would please. (it may be called start G Code)

So you use MatterControl to slice and print over USB, but you slice models to be printed with SD Card on Slic3r? If it works fine with MatterControl then your settings are obviously different in Slic3r, when compared to your MatterControl settings.

Have you tried slicing with MatterControl and printing with SD Card?

This is a really good question...i didn't know that the settings were in the gcode file too, i thought the setting were in the arduino (sorry to be so novice lol)
It's why i tried to convert in gcode by mattercontrol but i didn t found how to do it, so i tried by slic3r because for me it was just a file, no settings inside.
I ll try tomorrow because i m printing (by usb) and 9 hours remaining ;-)
