I tried to add the chimera to my robo 3d r1 Plus but I am encountering a problem where certain types of drivers wont allow information to be displayed on the lcd. I have no idea what the problem could be. DRV drivers work but, A4988 wont work. The drvs dont work great they jump around and dont move smoothly. I checked the boards and there is no visible fries. I am stuck. when i mean the lcd wont work it lights up very dim and displays no information.

Given the price for generic parts? I'd replace both to get the printer working and then sort out which of them is bad.
The problem is that all of these parts are so cheap that there are a lot of bum ones out there.
I have had bad RAMPS, bad LCDs, bad drivers, etc... I will say the ones I bought as part of the full kits were OK, but individual boards were always a crap-shoot. Last time I when through 3 new RAMPS boards to 1 that worked (at least with Prime returning them was easy)
