Damn. Noob mistake. I ordered a few rolls of filament on Amazon the same day I ordered my Robo3D. They just came into today. I didn't realize that the black roll I ordered was HIPS. Thought I was ordering ABS. Is this a big deal? I seem to be reading that a lot of people use it with dual extruders as support material with the intent of dissolving it away later. Did I just waste $25 bucks, or can I print stuff with this like I would with PLA or ABS?

Have you tried the HIPS yet... I did the same thing you did lol. If so, what were the setting you used?

HIPS prints pretty similar to ABS. Runs a bit hotter at around 250 and I don't think the bed needs to be as hot, 80C is probably more than enough.
