Unanswered Under Extruding?

    OK, i tried to calibrate my extruder today. I marked 100 mm on the filament, got it lined up just right, then extruded until i used all the 100 mm of filament. I had to have the machine extrude between 107 and 110 mm to use the 100 mm that was marked. This is like 10% under extrusion, right?

    Roughly, yes. 7-10% to be precise :)
    Do it a couple more times and average the numbers... that will get you really close

    is unde rextrusion a common problem? What does it look like? as my prints have not been looking really good.
