Solved How do i remove the hot end on the Robo 3D R1 +

    How do i remove the hot end on the Robo 3D R1 +

    older videos show to remove two screws There are no screws in the holes, another vid says they put on a quick release i don't see that ether I need to get it off so i can unclog it

    Hi there ! Your screws are on the bottomof your carriage that holds the hotend between the rear fan and hotend is one phillips screw. You dont need to mess with that one but on the other side towards the robo lettering (front) youll find the 2nd one. Loosen that screw and slide the pull tab (black plastic) on the right side of the hotend out and bam ths hotend will fall out

    The older r1+ models had a shiny aluminum one , i totally forgot about that!

    Thats my assumption. Not that it causes any issues either way that i know of but id bet molding a pallet vs machining a pallet is much cheaper.

    Customer support sent me this info last week:

    -You can take the extruder off the printer to get a better look at the problem. See these pictures to see how to operate the quick release and to easily remove your extruder.
