Some filaments don't need the bed heated. Check you wiring, but likely a failed transistor on the ramps board (Q3 if memory serves)

You can set your bed temp to 0 and it wont attempt to heat. @mark tomlinson is has it nailed. q3 on the ramps board typically fails meaning youll need a new ramps. Do you have an r1 or r1+? If your under warranty contact robo for a replacement.

They do have the board. Some of the connectors have been moved around but should be plug and play.

If your good with working on things you can switch it to a generic ramps board which is very cheap (10-30 bucks on amazon)

You probably will not get a response until Monday.
I'd suggest calling them, but the tech support folks (apparently) can't answer parts/stock questions.

@Howard Hail unfortunantly calling them will be the only way to get a r1+ board that is plug and play. They use one specific to their printers wiring harness.
