I searched in the forum, and didn't see anyone asked about Dust Cover.. So I guess there isn't one made for the Robo3D printer. How do you guys protect the printer when it's not in use?

    Never happens... ;)

Seriously though cover it with a plastic bag if you need.

Hahaha.. I think I am one of the are ones that don't use it too often.. :D

I was thinking more like a dust cover. Like the ones they sell for sewing machines.. but I think plastic bag will work.. lol :)

    Sure, whatever you like best.
I agree a cover is not a bad idea, but Robo doesn't have one and you are the first person to actually ask for one.

Not belittling that in any way. Just never thought about it. A heavy duty garbage bag could be 'adjusted'to work I imagine.

Ran out of stuff to print ?

    Thats a thing ?

SO MUCH TO BE PRINTED !

In regards to dust cover....build one out of plastic sheeting so you can still see the printer when not in use ????

    Plastic bag?

Cut the bottom out of the robo box it came in and just set it over the top ? Then it will always look new !

I think i have a model of a gun from destiny to print that should take 100 hours(prop obviously) with moving cylinder trigger and firing pin.

There is the trex full skeleton on thingiverse that would be bragging rights when people come over

Not sure what you like to print or enjoy but im sure there is some massive amount of file to make one large print :)heck print out a vase and flowers!

You might be able to use an enclosure if you really need it.

Do you have the original box? Turn it upside down and cover it. :) I have the enclosure that Mike Kelly designed and supplies through PrintedSolid.com. That would help. You would just have the top slot to cover.

I use 2 drawer liners stapled end to end with a slot in the middle for filament to pass through. The heavy black ones from harbor freight.
