Unanswered Extruder gears making a weird clicking noise

So about a week ago, I noticed that my extruder would randomly make a weird clicking noise and the filament would stop getting pushed through. It has since graduated to it always making clicking noises as if the gears are stuck in place. The gears move freely when spun by hand, and I made sure that there wasn't any clogs, but for some reason the gears won't turn when I start a print. Here's a video of what's going on, and no its not the filament, it even happens when there's nothing in there.

 

Stepper motor or stepper drive? That is what I am presently broke down with?

 

How would I go about figuring out which one it is?

 

Well underneath I swapped out the wires with another driver and found the problem went to a different motor, so I knew it was not the motor but possible the driver

 

In that case, I might have double the trouble. Because when I did that, the other motor didn't work, and the stepper motor still didn't turn so both might be bad for me :/

this is the thread on my ongoing problem. Robo is sending me a new RAMPS to hopefully fix mine

 

I would send that video straight to ROBO Help and get an appointment set up with one of their techs.
